Coupling gas chromatograph to mass spectrometer (GC-MS).
Using of high resolution GC coupled with low resolution MS (LRMS) in environmental, food and biological sample analysis.
Principles of high resolution MS (HRMS) and coupling to high resolution GC (HRGC).
Selectivity and sensitivity of HRGC-LRMS and HRGC-HRMS.
Application of HRGC-HRMS in different fields
SFC-MS and CE-MS coupling advantages and drawbacks.
HPLC-MS coupling, principles and application areas.
Modern samples preparation methods for determination of trace and ultratrace organic compounds in different matrices.
Practical work:
Determination of proteins by conventional methods and electrophoretic techniques.
