General rules
Requirements: The subject is accompanied by three small homework assignments (partial performance assessment). To solve these, students must apply the knowledge acquired in the lectures. Each of the three assignments is worth 20-20 points, of which 10 points per assignment are required for the assessment. There is no possibility of handing in homework assignments for correction, however, only two of the three assignments are required to be completed, if the student completes all three assignments the two best ones will be taken into account for the calculation of the grade.   At the end of the semester, a midterm test (summative assessment) which takes stock of the whole semester. The midterm will be worth 60 points, of which at least 30 points must be achieved.   To receive a grade, at least two homework assignments must be handed in by the deadline and a minimum of 10-10 points must be achieved. The marks for two homework assignments count for 20-20% of the grade and the final grade for 60%. Additional possibilities: The midterm exam can be repeated once during the repeat period.  There is no special possibility to make up for missed homework or homework that does not meet the minimum score, but only 2 out of the 3 assignments are required.
