Programme

st week: Introduction. Design of electric systems as technical communication. Basics, general rules.

nd week: Fields of computer aided design. Notation of devices.

rd week: Typical tasks in building electricity design. Standards, regulations. Description of homeworks.

th week: Design of a simple distribution board for motor protection. Overview of a sample design.

th week: Rules of 2D representation and drawing. Numeration systems of drawings.

th week: Parts of technical documentation: technical description, designer’s statements and declarations, drawings, quality clearance, measurement reports, cabinet drawings, etc.

th week: Types of plans: network of electric energy distribution, lighting network, extra low voltage networks, overvoltage protection, etc. trail plans, single line schematic diagrams, drawings of distribution boards, front images.

th week: Aids to determine energy consumption. Softwares for lighting design.

th week: Tools for dimensioning and selection of devices. (Cross-section of cables, protective devices, chek of selectivity and protection against electric shock).

th week: Control calculation of electric and magnetic fields inside and near the building.

th week: Softwares to aid designing lightning protection - 1. Basics, overview of standard MSZ EN 62305

th week: Softwares to aid designing lightning protection – 2. Applications.

th week: Data exchange between different CAD softwares. Typical formats.

th week: Programming AutoCAD, case studies
