Objectives
Programme
- Comparative study of thermal and current protection of motors
- Examination of a coordinated surge protection system
- Examination of the effectiveness of the lightning protection interception system
- Lighting control using the KNX system
- EMC testing of light sources with a GTEM cell
- Application of a building information system to increase energy efficiency
- Examination of the high-voltage laboratory's protection against electric shock
- Intelligent measurement of a building's electrical network
- Control of lighting to constant brightness based on illumination measurement
- Measurement of AC and DC fields occurring in buildings
(4-hour laboratory sessions)
During the laboratory measurements the knowledge learned in the subjects Intelligent Buildings and Lighting Systems and Computer Aided Design in Building's Electricity will be practiced.
