Objectives
Programme
The program comprises taught course units :
• Project Management Principles (project and program definition, dimensions, phases, life cicle, project maturity, history, project manager profession and required competencies)
• Project methods (PMBOK, Prince, Agile, Six Sigma, Lean) and tools (collaborative software, issue tracking systems, scheduling, portfolio management, resource management, document management, workflow management, reporting and analysis)
• Project initiation (strategy, vision, goals, scope, requirements), business analysis (income, expenditure, cashflow, profit, NPV, ROI), feasibility study, planning (WBS, budget, prediction-estimation, scheduling, decision, project chart), launching
• Project organizational requirements (roles, players, responsibilities, authority, structure, incentive system)
• Leading, managing projects (earned value management)
• Project monitor and control (review, audit)
• Quality-, risk-, conflict-, issue-, change-, communication-, procurement- and contract management (types of procurement, procurement strategies, legal system elements, different contract forms)
• Portfolio and program management
• Project closure (evaluation, lessons, classification, awarding, knowledge management)
• Human Resource Management (Myers-Briggs personality test, self-improvement, conflict- and stress management, trust building, collaboration, responsibility, team building, performance evaluation)
• Managing cultural differencies based on Hofstede survey
• Case studies by industrial senior project managers

The course prepares students for a professional role in the management of projects identified by complex, specific tasks. Lessons providing students with an understanding of the people –related, technical, financial, business, marketing and legal requirements necessary for the success of projects. The course programme contains specific unit where students will be required to collaborate in a project team to solve problems, make decision and overcome difficulties associated teamwork and communication when managing a real, past project implemented by industry.

Követelmények:
Aláírás feltétele:
• a gyakorlatok rendszeres, pontos látogatása. a TVSZ 14. § 3. pontja szerint a gyakorlatokra vonatkozó része alapján hiányzás maximum két alkalommal, késés maximum két alkalommal,
• a félévközi szakmai munkában aktív részvétel
• házi feladat sikeres elkészítése (feladatkiadás az első, feladatbeadás az utolsó oktatási héten, a félév során négy részbeszámoló, a félév végén záróbeszámoló előre egyeztetett időpontokban, illetve a tanóra keretében)
A vizsgaidőszakban: írásbeli és szóbeli vizsga (kérdések a tananyagból).
Elővizsga: hallgatói megbeszélés alapján van.
Pótlási lehetőségek:
A házi feladat különeljárási díj ellenében a szorgalmi időszak végéig leadható, a beszámoló a házi feladat leadása után a szorgalmi időszak végéig előre egyeztetett időpontban pótolható.
